Over the years my hobbies and careers have changed with the tides but, as a writer, I find that all of my past, current, and ongoing experiences make for some engaging material. The older I have gotten, the more interest I have taken in cooking, traveling, reading, and listening for stories. They are everywhere I go, these stories. What might seem like nondescript places, behind-the-scenes characters, lackluster scenarios, or ho-hum events to someone else, have often proven to be sources for great writing. So, don't be surprised when you see that I have written about a favorite food, my latest travels, tidbits of local history, or personal essays. They all add up to one thing - my life story.
